4 & 8 Channel Power Over Ethernet Switch in Weatherproof Cabinets

EnviroCams now offers some truly weatherproof Outdoor POE Switches in 4 and 8 channel models.

When we needed a truly outdoor switch, we couldn’t find any.There were a number of Industrial type switches that advertised as outdoor capable, but were not in any type of rainproof housing, so we made our own.

These unmanaged Fast Ethernet Switches are designed to accompany our Wireless Transceivers when used in outbuildings, barns, shops and other areas where more than one camera will be connecting to the Wireless equipment.

The 4 Channel Switch offers five 10/100 Base-TX ports, (4 with POE), and the 8 Channel model has 9 10/100 Base-TX Ports (8 with POE).The switches can move a lot of data, as the High back-plane bandwidth of all ports can get to 10Gbps.Both models can put out up to 15.4 watts per output.

Each model Conforms to IEEE802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE802.3af .They also feature IEEE802.3x Flow control as well.

Each EnviroCams Outdoor POE Switch has built-in Surge protection for power port and data ports, and conform to EMI standards for FCC, CE class B approvals.
