A Furuno system ID number is an 18-digit hexadecimal code that starts with the letters "SI". It's used to generate unlock codes for a Furuno system and is required for registration and other purposes:
Finding the system ID
To find the system ID, you can:

1. Set the main unit as the chart master
2. Go to the Settings menu from the Furuno home menu
3. Scroll to the bottom and select Initial Setup
4. Find the Chart Master device toggle switch and turn it on
5. The system ID will appear
