Minn Kota Talon Special Tools Kit (G2 & BT)

This kit, provided by Minn Kota, is recommended when any service needs to be done on a G2 or BT Talon model that requires relieving the tension of the extension and/or retraction cables.

Used to fix the following Minn Kota Talon models:

• Minn Kota Talon 3 stage models from 2014 - 2017
• Minn Kota Talon BT models from 2018 - Present

Tools included with this kit:

• 2378885 - Extension Cable Tensioner Puller.  The extension cable tensioner puller supports the extension (or lower) cable tensioner during disassembly and is used to position the extension cable tensioner and tighten the Talon's cables during assembly.
• 2378896 - Tension Drilling Template and 2378887 - Transfer Punch, 13/64".  Used together to locate and mark the hole locations on the main extrusion when updating from a fixed lower pulley to the extension cable tensioner.
• 2378886 - Drill Bit, 13/64" and 2378888 - Countersink 82º 3/8".  Proper size drill bit and counter sink to form the holes in the main extrusion when updating from a fixed lower pulley to the extension cable tensioner.
• 2378897 - Outer Extrusion Template, 2378898 - 3rd Stage Template and 2378895 - Inner Extrusion Template
• 2378893 - Wrap Drum Spool Clip.  The wrap drum spool clip is used to keep the cables in place on the wrap drum.
