The Icom M330G is a high performance 25w, compact VHF radio, great for installations in limited spaces. A new speaker design provides distortion free audio that offers a clearer sound over a wider bass and treble range. Working with the new speaker design is Icom’s AquaQuake feature which vibrates the mic and gets rid of excess water to ensure clarity when speaking into the handheld mic. A bright Dot-Matrix display and backlit keypad make this radio easy to use and view, day or night.

Your Icom M330 G comes with an external GPS puck receiver that’s easy to install and will insure better performance and accuracy while on the water. This compact receiver provides you with speed, bearing, and location by using several different satellite systems such as GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS. Having an accurate GPS signal is also important and used for the DSC (digital selective calling) feature that the Icom M330G offers. This radio continuously monitors channel 70 even when you are receiving another channel. DSC functionalities include position request/reports, DSC test calls, individual/group calling, and urgencies.

Another key feature, out of several that your M330 G has to offer, is the ability to connect to the MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder. When the optional MA-500TR is connected to your transceiver, you can transmit an Individual DSC call to a selected AIS target, without entering the target’s MMSI code. NMEA 0183 compliant, you can share numerical data from your M330G to another NMEA 0183 compatible device. Other key features of this radio are Dual/Tri watch functionality for monitoring Channel 16 and or call channels, priority scan functionality, external speaker connectivity, and weather channel and weather alert notifications.
