The Victron Quattro is a combined power inverter and battery charger in one unit. The QUA245021010 is suitable for charging 24 volt batteries from 187-265V AC input, as well as producing a true sine wave 230V AC output from these 24 volt batteries.

This model features two AC inputs, with an integrated transfer switch, and two AC outputs. One of the outputs is only live when AC is available on one of the inputs, so this can be used for appliances where draining the battery would not be desirable. When connected to shore power or a generator, the Quattro will draw a large current and use it to power any AC loads connected to the output side. Any leftover power will then be used for charging batteries, while protecting the supply side from overloading. If there are periods where AC load exceeds the input power, either by adding more appliances or by the input power being disconnected, the multi will switch to battery power within 20 milliseconds, so fast that electronic equipment will continue to operate without any disruption.

If more power is required, up to 6 Victron MultiPlus units can be used in parallel operation. Each unit also features protections against problems such as short circuits, over / under voltage, high temperatures to prevent failure. Monitoring and controlling your Victron MultiPlus is easy too, through the Color Control GX, the Venus GX or any smartphone/tablet or computer with internet connection.

• Two AC Inputs & two AC Outputs - The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source. The main output has no-break functionality. In the event of a grid failure, or shore or generator power being disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air-conditioning or a water heater can be connected to this output.
• Unique PowerAssist feature - The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
• Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation -Up to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible. Please check our datasheets to see which models have paralleling, three phase and split phase capabilities.
• Remote Monitoring and Control - Monitor and control your MultiPlus and system or systems' locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Quattro will automatically connect to the active source. Two AC output main output has uninterrupted function. If the grid fails, or the shore power or generator power is disconnected, Quattro will take over the power to the connected load. This happens very quickly (less than 20 milliseconds), so computers and other electronic devices will continue to operate without interference. The second output is valid only when one of Quattro's inputs has alternating current. Loads that should not discharge the battery (such as air conditioners or water heaters) can be connected to this output. The unique PowerAssist function Quattro will prevent limited AC power from overloading. First, if no overload occurs, the battery power will automatically decrease. The second stage will use battery power to increase generator output or shore power. Parallel operation can provide almost unlimited power, and up to 6 Quattros can be connected in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.
